i was always in the special and advanced art classes in elementary school and beyond. but lacked much in the way of application. in high school and college i always surrounded myself with musicians, film makers, poets and artists. even considered pursuing my MFA. but life took me in a different direction. in the late 90's i began connecting with artists in NE iowa and writing articles for cvea.info an online publication. i stepped into a position on the arts commission for the city of waterloo, IA. and was able to support arts through my post at a local TV station. i later had the privilege to try my hand at managing the abstrakt gallery in saint louis - which connected me to many artists in this great city. i continue to create and communicate in this realm with the kinetic eye project.
