| bands seen two x or more | a list by matthew hundley | |||
Maybe I'm getting old. But I find myself making these lists. Trying to retain memories before they fully slip away. If you're tagged it's because more than likely you were in attendance at one or more of these concerts. For the sake of this exercise I've focused on national/international acts seen live 2 times or more. That said...there are plenty of local local bands that I saw over and over again that deserve mention. In Cedar Falls (1985-1987) bands like Drednex, HOLS, Hollowmen, UWTB, Swinging Teens, Hairy Carrie, The Nonstop and others. In Boulder (1988 - 1992) you had Warlock Pinchers, Twice Wilted, 40th Day, Architects Office, Little Fyodor, Naram Sin, The Samples, Big Head Todd, Again/Southpaw and others. Here then is my list of "two (or more) timers": Replacements Janes Addiction Soundgarden Henry Rollins Descendents/ALL Firehose Love and Rockets Sugarcubes REM Crash Worship Les Mystere de Voix Bulgares B*tthole Surfers Pat Metheny Crazy 8's Meat Puppets George Winston Sting The Fluid Pato Banton Fred Frith |
