saint louis
currently living in saint louis. working in marketing for joyce meyer ministries. active in ministry at refuge church. pursuing arts and cultural engagement projects under the kinetic eye umbrella. raising 4 kids and enjoying marriage with my lovely wife. from time to time i get the chance to adjunct or guest speak at lindenwood university.

moved here in 2006 to pursue full time studies at covenant seminary where i earned my m.a. theological studies in 2008. covenant has connected me with a lot of great people including denis and margie haack who i worked with for several years as editor and contributor to their publications: critique & notes from toad hall.

waterloo
prior to coming to missouri i was positioned as the marketing director for kwwl (raycom / nbc). waterloo is my home town and i had my hands in several things there from being on the arts commission to publishing the cvea arts magazine/website to teaching at wartburg college. we had moved back to iowa several years earlier to take a position with mathis, earnest and vandeventer. a full service ad agency.

dayton
we lived in dayton in the late '90s. moved there to take a marketing/producer position at WDTN (hearst / abc).

cedar rapids
moved to cedar rapids (the town that smells like captain crunch) to pursue my first television gig at KGAN (guy gannett, cbs).

madison
lived in madison for a short time after college seeking to gain residency and pursue a masters in film. an opportunity in television in cedar rapids altered that path a bit.

boulder
i had lived in boulder while in junior high. moved back to finish up college. worked as the production manager for campus radio station kucb. earned two degrees at cu: bs broadcast production & management; ba critical film studies. had a chance to take classes from stan brakhage while i studied there.

boston
having grown up in iowa, boston seemed like a nice faraway place to escape to. studied recording production and jazz guitar at berklee college of music.
